Nötkey Device Owner Provisioning QR Code

Scan this QR code during Android setup. Use another device to display this page.

Quick setup summary

1
Factory reset your phone
A factory reset permanently erases all data. Back up everything you want to keep before starting. This cannot be undone.
2
Start Android setup
Work through the initial screens: choose your language, connect to Wi-Fi.
3
Tap the background 6 times
On the Wi-Fi selection screen, tap the blank background area 6 times. Android will prompt to scan a QR code for device provisioning.
4
Scan this QR code
Open this page on another device and scan the QR code with your phone. Android will download Nötkey and begin provisioning.
5
Grant Device Owner permission
Confirm that Nötkey can act as the device administrator. Read the permission screen carefully.
6
Complete Android setup
Finish the remaining setup screens. You are now in your Public Profile with Nötkey active as Device Owner.

Requirements

Closed Test access

Your Google account must be included in the Nötkey Closed Test to install from Google Play during provisioning.

Wi-Fi required

Your phone must be online during provisioning so Android can download Nötkey from Google Play.

Guardian or higher

Device Owner provisioning requires a Guardian, Sentinel, or Sentinel Pro subscription.

Before you start

If you complete the Android setup wizard without scanning this QR code, you must factory reset again.

Device Owner can only be granted during initial setup. There is no way to correct this after the setup wizard completes without performing another factory reset.
